We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive FP&A professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys turning complex financial and operational data into meaningful business insights, while partnering closely with leadership to support strategic decision-making. This person should be comfortable working independently, building financial models, identifying trends, and communicating findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Primary Responsibility:
- Analyze monthly financial results, including KPI’s, and identify/explain trends and changes from Plan/Prior Yeaar, preparing related summaries/ management reports for business leaders and other key stakeholders.
- Provide Monthly Reporting package and communicate results as needed to support group deliverables.
- Develop and Automate models to transform data into meaningful, clear, concise management reporting.
- Collaborate with Technology and Data & Analytics business partners to build and implement AI-centric reporting, modeling, and business insight solutions
- Assist in developing Plan and Forecast using various models, industry data, and insights from business leaders.
- Develop Key understanding of the Expense and Revenue drivers of the business to be used in various modeling.
- Support business opportunities by collaborating with business leaders and their teams and creating proformas and other adhoc analysis.
- Ability to work primarily independently of Manager.
- Contribute to positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and “can do” attitude.
Required Qualifications (Preferred):
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Finance, Accounting, and or Business Degree
- Experience 3-4 years of relevant FP&A, Corporate Development or related work experience . Preference for someone in the insurance industry.
- Licenses: insurance licenses including CPCU or Affiliated, P&C licensing etc.
- Experience with process automation and utilization of Anthropic AI tools a plus
Skills (Preferred):
- Analyze information and use logic/rationale that connects various concepts
- Ability and
- Utilize effective research and investigative techniques
- Quick Learner in picking up insurance concepts and implementing into analysis
- Understanding of General Accounting (Preference)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools especially Excel
- Experience with AI tools and process automation is preferable.
Work Environment
- Travel Frequency - beyond above, be able to attend conferences and client meetings: ~10%.
- If Outside Tampa area, travel could be 20-25%.
