A regional healthcare system's inpatient services division is hiring compassionate Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses to join its clinical team. This hospital-based position offers strong nurse-to-patient ratios, administrative support, and a collaborative team culture, located in Great Falls, Montana.

Schedule
Full time, on-site, inpatient Medical/Surgical unit. Multiple shifts available.

Compensation
$90,000 to $105,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on documented years of nursing experience. A $20,000 retention bonus is available for external candidates.

What You'll Do

This role delivers high-quality, professional patient care utilizing the complete nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation, providing comprehensive care for patients presenting with a broad scope of acute medical conditions or undergoing pre- and post-surgical procedures. The RN collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, providers, the Acute Care Director and the Charge Nurse to achieve optimal patient outcomes, and communicates with patients and families to ensure physical, emotional and educational support while maintaining professional nursing standards. This position also serves as a clinical leader on the floor, providing directional support to LPNs, CNAs, housekeeping and dietary staff, and maintains thorough, accurate and timely electronic health documentation reflecting patient status, treatment progression and discharge coordination.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Montana (or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, active or completed within 6 months of hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, active or completed within 6 months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, active or completed within 6 months of hire
• Solid foundational knowledge of basic nursing principles and procedures
• Proficient IV insertion and management skills
• Basic office and computer technical literacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in Medical/Surgical or Pediatric nursing
• New graduates and nurses transitioning specialties are encouraged to apply
