What You Will Do as a 2nd shift Distribution Manager:
- Manages departments within the assigned distribution center ensuring adequate staffing levels
- Manages 7 - 10 hourly supervisory staff members engaged in operations to include:
- Maintaining distribution schedules to ensure our adherence to customer and company requirements such as cost and quality
- Physical and systematic product receiving and replenishment
- Inventory accuracy - confirm inventory information matches the physical inventory quantities of the warehouse by recording and reporting data metrics
- Ensure quality defect rates remain within acceptable range
- Measurement of daily and weekly workforce KPI's
- Continuous process improvement objectives
- Safety policy compliance
- Budget planning and review responsibility
This is a second shift position. Hours will vary, but normal second shift hours are 2:30 pm-11:00 pm.
