Full job description
3rd Shift
Description
Responsible for operations during shift hours including safety, production, quality, and employee relations Develop, lead, and train contract catchers and company employees in proper catching methods. Enforce company regulations, policies, and practices, including GMP's. Maximize efficiency in transportation and loading. Ensure loading of birds and delivery to the plant in a timely manner and meeting welfare and safety standards. Ensure proper staffing for hourly positions. Inspect employees, processes and birds to ensure compliance with USDA and company standards. Minimize downtime, DOA and shed time. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required. 3 years' experience in DOT regulations, transportation preferred. 2+ years of management experience. CDL licenses preferred. Strong Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate spreadsheets in Excel. Good communication skills: English required, Spanish a plus. Must have excellent verbal and written skills. Must be reliable, responsible, dependable, and able to fulfil obligations. Must be a self-starter and have to the ability to work with little to no supervision. Must be professional at all times, even in high stress situations.
