Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform advanced vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies, ensuring exceptional image quality and patient safety. You’ll coordinate workflow, mentor technologists, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams. The Lead Sonographer supports quality improvement, staff education, and protocol development while modeling Wellstar’s compassionate, patient-centered values and maintaining regulatory and documentation standards.
