Full job description

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries.

Working with our clients across real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources, we transform together delivering outcomes that improve people’s lives. Working in partnership makes it possible to deliver the world’s most impactful projects and programs as we turn challenge into opportunity and complexity into success.

Our capabilities include program, project, cost, asset and commercial management, controls and performance, procurement and supply chain, net zero and digital solutions.

We are majority-owned by CBRE Group, Inc., the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, with our partners holding a significant minority interest. Turner & Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier program, project and cost management offering in markets around the world.

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Project Manager to own end to end coordination of Major Capital Equipment (MCE) for a dedicated high-profile client. The ideal project manager will be driven to provide our clients with excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end coordination of Major Capital Equipment (MCE) from initial procurement and order placement through delivery, installation, commissioning, and ready-for-service handover.
  • Act as the primary on-site interface between Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Design, Commercial teams, and equipment suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Drive supplier coordination, issue resolution, schedule management, field support, and commissioning readiness across multiple equipment packages and stakeholders.
  • Provide visibility and escalation management for equipment-related risks, delays, defects, resource constraints, and supplier performance issues to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure equipment vendors have the necessary resources, technicians, parts, spares, documentation, and site access required to support installation and commissioning activities.
  • Operate within the Procurement organization while working day-to-day alongside Construction and project delivery teams on site, acting as the link between commercial and field execution functions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong project manager with experience coordinating complex equipment packages through the full project lifecycle, rather than a pure procurement or construction specialist.
  • Good technical understanding of MEP systems, critical infrastructure equipment, or data center systems, with the credibility to engage suppliers, engineers, and commissioning teams.
  • Highly effective stakeholder manager who can influence and coordinate multiple disciplines, manage competing priorities, and drive accountability across teams.
  • Comfortable working primarily on-site, acting as client's field representative for major capital equipment and supporting project delivery activities in real time.

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
  • Strong communication skills.

*On site requirements might change based on client needs*

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
