Full job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution organization, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to join their team. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be part of the operations department supporting the warehouse and logistics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Manager Contract

Location: Saint Francis, WI

Pay Range: $75/hr.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM

What's the Job?

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, staging, and internal material movement
  • Supervise warehouse associates and forklift drivers, setting daily priorities and resolving bottlenecks
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including dock scheduling, carrier communication, and compliance with retail routing guides
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy control, utilizing ERP systems
  • Ensure safety standards are met, including OSHA compliance and proper forklift practices

What's Needed?

  • 5–7+ years of progressive warehouse, logistics, or materials management experience
  • At least 3 years of hands-on leadership in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems and knowledge of OSHA and forklift protocols
  • Strong leadership, accountability, and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with retail compliance and shipping requirements is highly preferred
