Full job description
The work:
- Perform advanced geospatial analysis to support nationwide coverage reinvestment activities, including suitability models, geospatial overlays, multi‑criteria assessments, and nationwide spatial evaluations to identify optimal AOI candidate locations.
- Manage, process, and analyze large ArcGIS datasets using scripts, automation, and advanced geoprocessing tools to efficiently handle significant spatial and tabular data inputs.
- Produce technically accurate maps, layers, models, and documentation packages to support engineering, business, and investment decision‑making across multi‑state and national public safety programs.
- Integrate crowdsourced datasets, RAN‑derived inputs, and third‑party GIS sources to generate insights that guide AOI identification, prioritization, and justification.
- Solve complex geospatial data challenges by developing, validating, and refining workflows for large datasets to ensure data integrity, repeatability, and auditability.
Here’s what you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Minimum of 8+ years of GIS analyst experience
(a graduate certification or advanced degree may offset 1 year of experience). - Experience using ArcGIS, data management tools, and scripting to process large databases supporting GIS activities.
- Experience using ArcGIS Suitability Modeling on a nationwide basis to identify optimal locations aligned with specific goals.
- Demonstrated relevant knowledge and experience with multi‑state and/or national public safety communications programs or projects.
- Demonstrated experience in problem‑solving when handling large datasets within ArcGIS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using crowdsourced data to produce insights that support investment activities.
- Familiarity integrating diverse datasets (crowdsourced, RAN inputs, third‑party GIS sources) for nationwide analysis.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
