Position Overview
Family First Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in assisting patients to restore normal movement, enhance mobility, and achieve their personal health goals. As a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), you will be responsible for evaluating patient conditions, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual's needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals, physical limitations, and treatment potential.
- Create individualized care plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques and modalities.
- Deliver patient care with a consistent focus on improving strength, balance, flexibility, and overall mobility.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to promote optimal health outcomes and facilitate the recovery process.
- Manage a patient caseload effectively, allowing ample time for attention to each patient (approximately one patient per hour).
- Document all evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with organizational policies and best practices.
- Encourage lifestyle modifications and adherence to treatment through constant motivation and support.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for all patients.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust as needed based on patient responses.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The primary focus of care will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation patients, and individuals experiencing chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve tailoring your approach to each unique individual, considering their specific therapeutic needs and personal health objectives. Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Active and valid physical therapist license in the state of Texas.
- No disciplinary actions or ethical violations in your professional history.
- Strong skills in manual therapy techniques, with a proven track record in orthopedic settings.
- Proficient in developing and implementing patient-centered exercise protocols tailored to individual needs.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience as a practicing physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in providing home care services is a significant plus.
Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
