Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1800 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1+ year neonatal or PICU critical care experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience managing patients on high-frequency ventilation, surfactant administration, and managing inhaled nitric oxide therapy is preferred.

Unit Details: The unit uses Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, high-flow therapy, and heliox therapy. The role includes independently admitting and managing vented patients in a Level 4 neonatal/NICU setting; setting up and managing invasive and non-invasive ventilation devices, including Bubble CPAP and high-flow therapy; managing inhaled nitric oxide and high-frequency ventilation (HFOV and HFJV); administering surfactant; and attending high-risk deliveries.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
