Job Description
Job Summary
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing various modalities, primarily X-ray, to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients in a PRN (as needed) capacity. Ensures patient safety and comfort while producing high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events.

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
Certificate Radiologic Technology
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
BLS
Preferred Qualifications
2 Years Pediatric Orthopedics
