Part-Time Youth & Family Instructors

Open Positions & Schedules
1. Preschool Classes Instructor
* Who you will work with: Children ages 1 to 5.
* Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
* Available shifts: Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 a.m.
2. Gymnastics Instructor
* Who you will work with: Children ages 3 to 12.
* Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
* Available shift: Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
3. Teen Mentor / Instructor
* Who you will work with: Middle school students in grades 5 through 8.
* Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
* Available shift: Monday through Thursday from 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
What You Will Do
* Lead fun, safe, and positive activities for children and teens.
* Help participants learn new skills and build confidence.
* Supervise groups to ensure everyone stays safe and included.
* Communicate kindly with parents and family members.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience: Experience working with kids, coaching, or teaching is a big plus.
* Attitude: Reliable, patient, and full of positive energy.
* Skills: Strong communication and basic leadership skills.

All positions require the ability to obtain PA State Police, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprint and National Sex Offenders Registry Clearances. If you do not have current clearances the Y will help you obtain them.
