Full job description
Trainers are responsible for the duties listed below, along with any additional tasks assigned by the SDS Training Manager:
- Deliver New Hire training and conduct refresher training sessions; during periods without active classes, review curriculum content as directed.
- Provide training to all Tier 1 personnel across a variety of learning topics.
- Support curriculum design and delivery, including the development of Quick Start Guides (QSGs).
- Develop training cycles and learning topics for Tier 1 personnel as needed.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to trainees.
- Communicate all absences, tardiness, or early departures—scheduled or unscheduled—to the Training Lead and/or Manager via email, phone, or designated communication channels.
- Review training content and provide direct feedback to the Training Lead and/or Manager.
- When not actively training, provide support to the primary trainer as needed.
- Develop E-learning courses via Verint.
- Assist with the completion and/or troubleshooting of Required Annual Trainings for all Tier 1 personnel.
- Ability to train virtually and in-person
Requirements:
- Experience with administering and organizing materials for training and educational programs.
- Experience in collaborating with management on on‑the‑job training and employee orientation.
- Experience with maintaining records of training activities, tracking employee progress, and monitoring program effectiveness.
- Experience with developing and delivering training topics within a contact center or customer service environment.
- Must exhibit strong presentation skills with experience as a lecturer and/or facilitator
- Experience with memorizing material and delivering training confidently.
- Current employees must have strong adherence, performance, and attendance records.
- Coachable, with a willingness to learn.
- Team‑oriented and solutions‑focused.
- Ability to work generally a 0800–1700 shift.
- Shift may change based on training needs.
- Must be able to support a 24/7 operation and flex shift as needed.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Self‑starter with strong initiative.
