The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, with shift options between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions.
  • Prepare therapy equipment and set up treatment areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress throughout therapy sessions, providing regular updates to the therapy team regarding treatment efficacy and patient feedback.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises under supervision, guiding patients through prescribed movements to enhance strength, flexibility, and mobility.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing intake processes to ensure operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse patient population, including athletes, post-operative rehabilitation patients, and individuals managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

  • Completion of an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid California PTA license.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient or comparable healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to ensure accurate documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong experience in manual therapy techniques, with a demonstrated ability to provide hands-on care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience.
