Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including assisting with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Monitor patients' vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and document patient information accurately and thoroughly

• Assist with bedside care, including feeding, toileting, and transferring patients

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care transitions

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

• Must pass the Ohio State Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) examination and maintain STNA certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire
