What You'll Do
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and production machinery
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Replace and repair motors, conveyors, motor controls, clutches, and assembly equipment
Locate and repair electrical faults using testing equipment and multimeters
Rebuild air cylinders, escapements, and other machine components
Replace conveyor belts, cut-off blades, and worn machine parts
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
Set up and operate machine shop equipment such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders
Test equipment following repairs to verify proper operation
Support continuous improvement projects focused on quality, efficiency, and cost savings
Follow all company safety procedures and work rules

Required Experience & Technical Skills
3-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience in plastics manufacturing, injection molding, assembly equipment, or high-speed manufacturing environments
Technical degree, vocational certification, or equivalent industrial maintenance training
PLC, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or automation certifications preferred
Experience leading maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, or troubleshooting efforts
Strong understanding of manufacturing safety, quality standards, and production requirements
Electrical & Automation Skills
Electrical troubleshooting in industrial manufacturing environments
Motor controls, starters, relays, and contactors
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and troubleshooting
Industrial electrical panel diagnosis and repair
Sensors, photo eyes, encoders, and proximity switches
Servo motors and motion control systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance and safety procedures
Basic PLC troubleshooting and automated equipment diagnostics
Mechanical Skills
Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and automated machinery
Conveyor systems, gearboxes, bearings, chains, and drive systems
Pneumatic and hydraulic systems troubleshooting
Preventive and predictive maintenance
Mechanical assembly, disassembly, and equipment rebuilds
Machine setup, alignment, and adjustment
Root cause analysis and corrective actions
Additional Qualifications
✔ Experience maintaining automated production equipment
✔ Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical manuals
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
✔ Ability to pass a maintenance skills assessment
✔ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the shift
Regularly lift up to 25 pounds

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
