Full job description

The Med Tech is responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care". Ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the residents daily life rhythm. Develops assignments in coordination with the care partners and keeps each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction.

Schedule:

  • PM Shift: 3 pm to 11 pm
  • Full-time TMs Rotating on a 4 shifts on 2 shifts off schedule, This role would fill in on off days.

Compensation:

  • On-Call up to 16 hours per week
  • Hourly $18.00- $22.50/hour depending on experience
  • Differential for NOC shifts, PM shifts and all weekend shifts

A day in the life may look like:

  • Provides resident care, including administering medications and documenting each treatment
  • Maintain communication with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, and residents' families concerning resident care
  • Prepares shift reports
  • Promotes and protects the rights of each resident

To be successful in the role, you would have:

  • Current Med Tech certification is a plus
  • Must have current CPR and First Aid certification prior to beginning work
  • Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care
