General Labor 1st Shift

A company in Byron Center is looking for Production Associates

Shift:

day - Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4pm/some Fridays

night - Monday-Friday 4pm-3:30am

Pay: $15.00/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform production and processing tasks according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Safely handle, sort, package, label, and stage materials for shipment or processing.
• Operate basic production equipment, tools, and machinery as trained.
• Load and unload materials, products, and supplies.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and PPE requirements.
• Assist with inventory management and material tracking as needed.
• Identify and report operational issues, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions.
• Support production goals by meeting quality, efficiency, and productivity standards.
• Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math and communication skills.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.
