Cardiology Interventional physician job in Massachusetts :

An integrated community health system is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist in Lawrence, MA. This role provides comprehensive cardiovascular care with a focus on invasive and catheter-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: In-person, hospital-based

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary angiography and PCI
  • Manage acute coronary syndromes, including STEMI and NSTEMI cases
  • Provide on-call interventional coverage for emergent cardiac cases, including after-hours and weekends as needed
  • Evaluate and manage patients before and after procedures to support continuity of care
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations and coordinate care across the cardiovascular care team

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine
  • Completion of a cardiology fellowship
  • Board certification in Interventional Cardiology
  • Active licensure to practice medicine
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a diverse team of healthcare professionals

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in a community hospital setting
  • Familiarity with STEMI response and transfer protocols
