Job Description

Pillsbury is seeking a mid-level level associate (3rd – 5th year) to join the Corporate and Securities practice group in the New York City office to handle the hypergrowth of its nationally ranked emerging company/venture capital practice.

The role will primarily involve advising innovative/disruptive companies, entrepreneurs, and their financiers on all aspects of corporate law, including formation and venture capital transactions, M&A, technology transfer transactions and joint ventures and other "outside GC" capacities. You will work across a broad array of industries (ecommerce, health and wellness, AI, CPG, media, social media, software, cybersecurity, and transportation). Candidate should have a strong academic background, fluency in Excel and cap table/waterfall modeling, exceptional research and writing skills and (most importantly) a passion for working with hard chargers in a fast-paced startup practice. Candidate must be admitted to practice in New York.

The expected salary range for this position is $260,000 - $365,000.  Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skill set, and geographic location
