Medical Receptionist – Job Description
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Level: Associate
Location: Rosedale Clinic - 2401 Fairview Ave N #145, Roseville, MN
Compensation: $24.00 per hour

Our patient-centric Primary Care clinics are dispersed across Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. We are thrilled to serve the Twin Cities metro and Eagan. About the Medical Receptionist Role:
- The Receptionist works closely with members and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure members have an effective and positive member experience that leads to optimal health and cost-effective outcomes
- Engages onsite and/or telephonically with members, family and providers to help facilitate care
- Identifies relevant Herself-Health and community resources and facilitates program, network, and community referrals.
- Works to get past medical History and referrals when appropriate
- Collaborates with member and the interdisciplinary care team to develop a comprehensive plan of care to identify key strategic interventions to address member's medical, behavioral and/or social determinant of health needs
- Engage members when they enter the clinic to ensure they have a memorable patient experience
Must-have Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous medical receptionist experience
- Accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations, including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, addressing routine inquiries, and screening calls
- Maintaining patient medical records in accordance with our policy
- Assisting with patient appointments, including preparation, form completion and loading, check-in/out, and follow-up actions
- Completing electronic medical records
- Providing assistance to front office team members by performing clerical duties, including patient check-in/out, referrals, prescription medication management, inbound/outbound telephone calls, etc.
Nice-to-have Qualifications and Skills:
- Medical office experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records
- People person
