Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Bostik is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our Louisville manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot equipment, complete preventive maintenance, perform repairs, and work with Production and Engineering to improve equipment reliability.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical equipment
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Maintain pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, heaters, and chillers
  • Diagnose issues involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Install, align, and assist with the startup of new machinery
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
  • Document maintenance activities in the maintenance management system
  • Partner with Production and Engineering to reduce downtime
  • Support equipment-reliability and continuous-improvement projects
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and equipment schematics
  • Experience safely using hand and power tools
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and teamwork


Preferred Qualifications
  • Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Technical school training or an industrial maintenance certificate
  • Military maintenance experience
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting, welding, millwright work, or industrial controls
  • Experience using a CMMS or EAM system
  • Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, or boom lifts
