What you will get to do:
You will be responsible for managing all elements of the staffing function. This includes enthusiastically representing the organization by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
Specifically, you will:
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process for all hourly and professional positions.
- Oversee the interview and selection of qualified candidates to fill vacancies, including all pre-employment and new hire paperwork to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Partner with department leadership to identify hiring needs.
- Supervise high school, college, and community related recruiting programs and outreach.
- Record recruiting metrics (openings, offers, hires, etc.) and submit to Corporate for consolidated reporting.
- Monitor budget for HR cost centers associated with recruitment, selection, and on-boarding.
- Review and escalate criminal background checks that are flagged under the Company’s adjudication process.
What it takes to succeed:
- Maintain high standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Carry out leader responsibilities including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
- Strong computer skills with experience using HRIS systems, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Work a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
What else is important:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- 2+ years of leadership experience is highly desirable.
