Sunset Animal Clinic, a well-established small animal hospital serving the Miami community since 1970, is seeking an experienced Medical Director Veterinarian (DVM) to lead our collaborative team while continuing to practice exceptional companion animal medicine.
This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys leadership, mentorship, high-quality medicine, and practice growth. As Medical Director, you'll partner with hospital leadership to uphold medical excellence, mentor fellow veterinarians, foster a positive team culture, and help shape the future of our practice.
About Our Practice
Sunset Animal Clinic provides personalized veterinary care for dogs and cats with a strong focus on preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and client communication. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while building lasting relationships with our clients and patients.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians
- Practice high-quality small animal medicine and surgery

Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school
- Active (or eligible) Florida veterinary license
- 5+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred
- Previous leadership or mentorship experience preferred
- Strong communication, medical, and surgical skills
- Passion for mentoring and progressive, evidence-based medicine

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
