Restore Wellness Physical Therapy is in search of a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Port Charlotte, Florida. Work Environment

This is an onsite position within a collaborative outpatient office setting. You will work within a supportive environment where interdisciplinary cooperation is encouraged. Our clinic is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment, enabling you to apply various treatment modalities. You will engage in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and continue enhancing the effectiveness of our care strategies. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured and predictable workweek.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic treatments aimed at enhancing mobility and improving daily functional activities, focusing on evidence-based practices.
• Maintain a manageable patient load by serving one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, dedicated care to each individual.
• Promote patient education regarding self-management strategies and lifestyle changes that can enhance recovery and prevent injury.
• Utilize various therapeutic interventions such as modalities, manual therapy techniques, and tailored exercise programs to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately and efficiently within our EMR system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and revise treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical assessments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and fitness trainers, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in the clinic's outreach programs to educate the community about physical therapy and its benefits.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus includes a varied patient demographic seeking care for orthopedic injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and mobility impairments. We cater to individuals of all ages, from adolescent athletes to seniors, addressing their unique rehabilitation needs and helping them regain independence and functionality in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your physical therapy license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create tailored exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population and a demonstrated ability to adapt treatment approaches to individual needs.
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to educate and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist role ranges between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
