Full job description
Machine Operator (Lamination)
Location: Lenexa, KS
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Monday-Friday
About the Opportunity
What You Will Do
- Set up, operate, and adjust lamination equipment to meet production and quality standards
- Load, unload, and stage film, adhesive rolls, and materials
- Monitor adhesive application, film tension, and machine performance during production
- Perform quality checks including measurements, coat weight, and mix ratio verification
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and computer logs
- Identify and properly dispose of contaminated adhesives or solvents per documented procedures
- Handle hazardous and universal waste and complete required Haz‑Mat training
- Follow GMP, SQF, OSHA, PPE, and food safety requirements
- Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

- Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustments as needed
- Ability to monitor equipment and proactively identify quality or production issues
- Ability to exert 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly
