Prep & Detail Technician
Location: Stanhope, New Jersey
Job Type: Part-Time
Work Location: On-site
Schedule: Monday to Friday & Saturday when needed; Hours Vary
Compensation Range: $16.00–$17.00 per hour, paid weekly
Nielsen Automotive Group is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our Prep & Detail Department .
Whether you are new to automotive detailing or already have experience, this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced dealership environment, develop your skills, and grow within the company. We are currently hiring Part-Time Prep & Detail Technicians at both entry-level and experienced levels .

Responsibilities
- Clean, wash, and prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for the dealership lot
- Detail and prepare vehicles for customer delivery
- Wash and clean customer vehicles as needed
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of dealership vehicles
- Assist with general dealership and work-area maintenance
- Ensure vehicles meet dealership presentation and cleanliness standards
- Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership property
- Work efficiently during high-volume periods, including month-end
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Company and insurance requirements
- Ability to safely operate both customer and dealership vehicles
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform the physical duties associated with vehicle cleaning and detailing
- Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and maintain Nielsen Automotive Group quality standards
