Prep & Detail Technician

Location: Stanhope, New Jersey
Job Type: Part-Time
Work Location: On-site
Schedule: Monday to Friday & Saturday when needed; Hours Vary
Compensation Range: $16.00–$17.00 per hour, paid weekly

Nielsen Automotive Group is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our Prep & Detail Department .

We are currently hiring Part-Time Prep & Detail Technicians at both entry-level and experienced levels .

Responsibilities

  • Clean, wash, and prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for the dealership lot
  • Detail and prepare vehicles for customer delivery
  • Wash and clean customer vehicles as needed
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of dealership vehicles
  • Assist with general dealership and work-area maintenance
  • Ensure vehicles meet dealership presentation and cleanliness standards
  • Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership property
  • Work efficiently during high-volume periods, including month-end
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Company and insurance requirements
  • Ability to safely operate both customer and dealership vehicles
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work efficiently
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform the physical duties associated with vehicle cleaning and detailing
  • Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn and maintain Nielsen Automotive Group quality standards
