Where is the work:
On-Site (5 days)
Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in La Crosse, WI! In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems
and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be
focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.
What you will do:
-Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including
investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
-Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing
operations.
-Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency,
operating costs, and product quality.
-Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls,
tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
-Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source
meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
-Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
-Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety
regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
What you will bring:
-Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
-PFMEA experience preferred.
-Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design.
-Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.
-Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset.
-Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus.
-Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines.
-Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical
