The surgery center offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to work across multiple locations including outpatient surgery and hospital settings.

Job Details:
• Perform clinical anesthesia duties and take appropriate responsibility for direct patient care
• Administer anesthetic agents following established protocols and guidelines
• Work independently with proficiency in nerve blocks and spinals required
• Provide services in OR, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department for intubations and peripheral access
• Work at multiple locations including Deer River and Grand Rapids facilities
• Coordinate staff coverage, assignments and breaks in surgical areas
• Communicate patient status effectively to healthcare team members
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
• Assess and interpret patient data relative to age-specific needs
• Ensure patients and families are partners in anesthesia care planning
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional development
• Initial schedule of 1-2 days per week through end of April
• Ongoing need of 1-2 days per month thereafter
• No call requirements and no weekend coverage
• Must hold current state licensure and NBCRNA certification
• BCLS certification required, ACLS within 90 days of hire
• Minimum 2 years of clinical CRNA experience required
• Graduate of accredited nursing and nurse anesthesia programs
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
