Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Digital Specialist II to join our Media & Archival Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end digital asset migration using studio capture tools, managing detailed archival logs and metadata, and maintaining rigorous chain of custody and quality control standards.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Digitize, restore, remediate, and reformat historic analog media—including paper, books, photo prints, and schematics—to deliver high-quality digital assets following archival best practices.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager, imaging team, and project managers to maintain work logs, asset tracking, and archival engineering reports throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with archival standards, secure physical and electronic delivery protocols, and equipment calibration guidelines.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
2 to 4 years of experience in digital asset migration or historical collection digitization.
Strong knowledge of current and obsolete image formats and proficiency with imaging tools such as CaptureOne, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Lightroom, and FileMaker.
Proven ability in metadata identification, precise quality control, hardware calibration, and managing demanding production schedules.
High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree or certificate in multimedia, film, photojournalism, or technical program preferred).
US Citizenship required.

Salary details: $24/hr (temp to hire - no benefits will be included for this role for the first year of employment)
