Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Understanding of dementia, stroke, skin care, and geriatric patient care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ER experience preferred.

Unit Details: Mostly geriatric population; general rehab post-surgery patients. Team assignment with 2 RNs on at all times; charge nurse takes a team assignment rather than individual assignments. Nurse aides/CNAs on each shift. Patient-managed CPAP only. Telemonitoring capacity; no monitor techs.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Alternating holidays. No call.

Floating Requirements: LPN will stay on the Med-Surg floor unless they want to float and have the experience.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
