Urology physician job in New York : A healthcare network in New York is currently seeking a new, licensed Urologist to join their growing team at their site in the Bronx.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Setting: Hospital based practice
Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and physical examinations to diagnose urological conditions
Ordering, performing, and interpreting various diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, blood tests, imaging studies (e.g., ultrasound, CT scans, MRIs), cystoscopies, and biopsies
Developing individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings
Conducting a variety of surgical procedures to treat urological conditions
Providing ongoing care and monitoring for chronic urological conditions such as urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and chronic kidney disease
Educating patients and their families about urological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
Keeping accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, test results, treatment plans, and follow-up notes
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice in the State of New York
Board Eligible / Certified
Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
