Full job description
Our non-profit client is looking for a Facilities Manager to join their small leadership team.
Facility Manager Compensation:
- Base Salary of $75 – 80k
- PTO, Vacation and holiday pay
- Medical Benefits
- Flexible 40 hour work week
Facility Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee facility construction, renovation, and maintenance projects, coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors
- Manage facility budgets, approve invoices, control costs, and recommend capital improvements and long-term maintenance plans
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, vendor contracts, and daily facility operations for the Cathedral, Rectory, and Event Center
- Ensure building safety, security, and regulatory compliance, including insurance claims, fire inspections, asbestos abatement, and emergency response
- Supervise maintenance requests, perform minor repairs, maintain equipment and supply inventories, and ensure building systems operate effectively
- Train and support maintenance staff while collaborating with leadership to maintain high facility standards and operational excellence
Facility Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Valid CA Drivers license
- 5 years of facility management experience with a non-profit, school organization or other multiuse facility.
- 2 years in a management role
- Solid computer literacy in Window or Mac environment
- Proficiency in the maintenance of facilities equipment including electrical, mechanical systems, emergency generation and distribution and life safety systems
- Skills include working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of all equipment, systems and building infrastructure components, including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, large HVAC systems and blowers, boilers (primary and backup), plumbing, drainage maintenance, furniture, paint, wall coverings, stone and tile, security systems, fire/life safety systems, fans, generators, PC based Automation systems and digital controls.
