Assembler
Location: 2925 Chief Court, Dallas, NC 28034
Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

The Dixon Group is looking for an Assembler to join our production team! In this role, you will be responsible for piecing together product components safely, efficiently, and in accordance with our quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, follows instructions closely, and takes pride in their work.

What You'll Do:
  • Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions to assemble products accurately.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and effectively.
  • Perform routine quality checks on assembled parts to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
  • Identify and report any defective components, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
  • Meet daily production goals and quotas while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth workflow.

What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand technical instructions.
  • Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per day).
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive hand/wrist motions.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Visual ability to inspect small parts and read detailed instructions.
  • This position is in a manufacturing setting, which may include exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, and varying temperatures.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots are required.
