TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Houston, TX. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $27.50 Per hour
- Schedule: Must be available 6 days a week for work
Job Details
- Route Type: Local, 12-13 hour trip
- Freight / Load Type: General merchandise, live load/unload
- Equipment: Dry Van
- Handling: Mostly Drop & Hook, some touch freight
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport general merchandise in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: Hazmat & TWIC Card required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
