The facility supports inpatient and operating room cardiothoracic surgical services with established clinical infrastructure and protocols in place to facilitate coordinated patient care. Credentialing for this assignment is estimated at four to five weeks.

About the Clinician‘s Workday
Clinicians will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient and operating room settings on a night shift and 24-hour call basis, working a Monday through Monday rotation on an every-other-week schedule. Clinical responsibilities include first assisting, rounding, and cardiothoracic surgical procedures as required throughout each assigned coverage period. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system. This is an on-site assignment, and prescriptive authority is required for consideration.
