Your Key Responsibilities - Perform routine lab procedures to test the conformity and quality of materials, (semi-) finished parts, products or returned products, at all stages of the supply chain process.
- Perform a wide range of quality analyses, according to given specification and procedures, relate to metrology, phys. and chem. testing, returned parts/warranty analysis.
- Report on stated failures and take or initiate appropriate actions.
- Document results of test procedures in the systems and support interpretation together with superior.
- Carry out calibration and maintain functionality of laboratory tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during testing procedures.
Your QualificationsRequired:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English
- Advanced computer knowledge and MS office skills
- Basic knowledge of statistic and calculations preferred
- Good visual acuity
- Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Preferred:
- College or University degree in a technical discipline a plus
- Multiple years of experience in quality assurance, especially CMM, in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with IT and/or SAP systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
