You’ll provide hands-on support to individuals in their daily lives—hanging out, helping with activities, social skills, community outings, personal care, shopping, budgeting, and more. Every day you help someone grow.
📝 Keep Things on Track:
Document activities, follow care plans, and make sure everyone’s information stays accurate and confidential.
💬 Build Relationships:
Work closely with individuals, families, guardians, and case managers. You’ll become a trusted and positive presence in their lives.
📣 Speak Up:
If something’s not right—health concerns, incidents, or safety issues—you report it. You help protect the rights and wellbeing of every person you serve.
Health & Safety (Important but Easy to Learn!)
🏥 Healthcare Support:
You may go along to appointments, help with medications (if trained), monitor health needs, and follow emergency procedures. Don’t worry—we train you!
🍽️ Food Fun:
Help prep meals, follow dietary plans, and support healthy eating.
🧹 Keep Spaces Safe & Clean:
Help maintain a welcoming environment—light cleaning, safety checks, and helping with seasonal chores.
🚗 Get Out in the Community:
You might drive individuals to fun outings, appointments, or errands—always safely and following the rules of the road!
The Basics
