The Medical Practice Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for creating a positive patient experience while supporting the daily operations of the medical office.
Pay Range: $15.50 to $27.29 Base pay is determined by several factors, including the applicable market range, the candidate's qualifications and experience, and internal peer equity considerations.

Key Responsibilities
- Register patients and schedule appointments.
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizations and referrals.
- Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
- Collect co-pays and other patient payments, reconcile daily cash batches, and prepare deposits.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, explaining financial responsibilities, and assisting with medical records requests.
- Support efficient front-office operations and administrative functions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One to three years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting.
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
