Quick Facts Location: Somerset, KY Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date/Duration: Ongoing/As needed Shift: 24-Hour Hospital Shifts Hours/week: 40 hours (flexible based on scheduling) Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Kentucky License (Must Have) Experience: Prior OB/GYN experience required; Hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package: $1.00/hour (Hourly pay rate) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to hospital patients on a 24-hour call basis Manage obstetric emergencies, including C-sections in the hospital setting Collaborate with OR staff to coordinate urgent and routine procedures Maintain high standards of patient safety and care quality Document clinical procedures and patient interactions accurately Work independently within hospital protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes What You Need Required: Kentucky medical license in good standing No background issues Proven experience in OB/GYN practice, hospitalist setting preferred Ability to work a 24-hour shift pattern Preferred: Prior experience in acute obsteteric emergencies and C-section management Ability to quickly adapt to hospital systems and protocols About the Assignment This OB/GYN hospitalist role is based at a leading hospital in Somerset, Kentucky, focusing on providing high-quality emergency obstetric and gynecologic care in a fast-paced environment.
