We're seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Consulting Construction Contract Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and negotiating contracts, coordinating with subcontractors, and overseeing project management. This role requires a deep understanding of the construction industry and its complexities, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Construction Contract Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the entire contract process, from initial drafting and negotiation to implementation and compliance.
2. Coordinating with subcontractors and tracking licenses to ensure all parties are in compliance with contract terms and conditions.
3. Overseeing project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Handling all documentation and coding related to contracts and projects.
5. Implementing and managing Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP) and Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIP).
6. Preparing and responding to Request for Proposals (RFP), prequalifications, and bid proposals.
7. Monitoring Certified Payroll Reporting, ensuring compliance with Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) regulations and using LCP Tracker for payroll processing.
8. Issuing Letters of Intent and managing contract close-out procedures.
9. Proactively identifying and resolving contract-related issues.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting Construction Contract Administrator position will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management and negotiation, project management, and construction management.
2. Proven experience in coordinating with subcontractors, tracking licenses, and handling documentation and coding.
3. Familiarity with OCIP, CCIP, RFP, prequalifications, and bid proposals.
4. Proficiency in Certified Payroll Reporting, DIR regulations, and using LCP Tracker for payroll processing.
5. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors and other stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve contract-related issues efficiently and effectively.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
