This opportunity is full-time during third shift (18% Shift Differential).
In this role, you will:
- Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored
- Work within an automated laboratory environment, including loading and unloading instrumentation and maintaining workflow efficiency
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including routine lifting of up to 40–50 lbs
- Support instrument maintenance by clearing consumables such as pipette tips and decapped tube caps, including proper disposal of biohazard waste
- Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
- Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards while adhering to PPE requirements
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
All you need is:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting (up to 40–50 lbs), standing, and repetitive motion in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with and disposing of biohazard materials in accordance with safety protocols

1–2 years of related experience in a clinical laboratory, data entry, production, or automation-focused environment
