Full job description
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences while supporting an efficient clinical workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure operatories are fully stocked and ready for patient care.
- Take digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral photographs as permitted by state regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the practice management system.
- Monitor, order, receive, and organize dental supplies and materials to ensure adequate inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, CDC, and infection control standards, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Support daily workflow management by coordinating patient flow, assisting with scheduling efficiencies, and helping the clinical team stay on schedule.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report repair needs promptly.
- Collaborate with the dental team to promote high-quality patient care and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, infection prevention, and sterilization protocols.
- Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records preferred.
- Strong organizational, inventory management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
