Optical Assembler

Our client, a leading organization in the biomedical and optical technology sector, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician III to join their dynamic team. As an Assembly Technician III, you will be an integral part of the Operations department supporting manufacturing excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician III

Location: Billerica, MA

Pay Range: $26.50 - $33.00 (Depending on Experience)

Shift: 3:00 pm - 1:30 am, Monday through Thursday

What's the Job?

• Assembling and packaging products with precision and care
• Completing paperwork related to assemblies and production activities
• Communicating discrepancies or potential issues to team members
• Performing quality inspections using mechanical, electrical, and optical tools
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process validations

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or assembly roles
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and read technical drawings
• Experience with measurement devices and quality control documentation
• Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to follow GMPs and SOPs
