Breast Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality breast ultrasound imaging and support early detection of breast disease in our patient-focused, not-for-profit health system. This PRN role performs diagnostic and interventional breast ultrasound exams, including assistance with biopsies, using advanced equipment and established protocols. The sonographer will position and prepare patients compassionately, recognize and document significant findings, and collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and participating in ongoing education within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
