The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add a Commissary Manager to our correctional team in Santa Rosa, CA. As a Commissary Manager, you will operate and supervise the assigned facility’s commissary management program per the facility contract specifications and per the direction of the District Manager.
What you'll be doing:
- Actively supervise the sales process.
- Supervise and direct inmate labor (where applicable).
- Accurately report financial results per Company protocol.
- Accurately maintain proper inventory levels.
- Source products and manage the product mix while reducing product costs.
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with the client, commissary partners and the location Food Service Director, ensuring effective and efficient communication and operations.
- Implement and support all Company standards and initiatives.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Company Vision, Mission and Goals.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- Inventory management experience
- Proven track record of financial responsibility.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree.
