Full job description

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II for part-time weekend nights. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based respiratory care to acute and critical care patients, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and airway clearance. You will perform respiratory assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans. Responsibilities include responding to respiratory emergencies, educating patients and families, documenting care in the EMR, and supporting quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
