Full job description
Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a skilled nursing facility in Fremont, CA. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, provide documentation and discharge planning, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. This assignment provides clinical variety working with adults in a post-acute skilled nursing setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active California SLP state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience treating adults in skilled nursing or post-acute care settings preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dysphagia management, videofluoroscopic swallowing studies, and modified barium swallow interpretation preferred.
- Experience with cognitive-communication disorders and AAC strategies preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: AM 8.
- Shift pattern: 5x8.
- Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
