About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour call shifts at an on-site inpatient facility in South Carolina, with clinic hours beginning at 9:00 AM and the last appointment scheduled around 4:15-4:30 PM. Midwives take first call, and clinicians can expect to round on 1-4 inpatients per day, manage an average of 1-3 surgical cases daily, and see 15-25 patients in clinic. Full-time coverage is sought, and clinicians must be prepared to work independently in a rural facility setting. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required for this assignment.
