Skyrocket Education Services is seeking a Career and Technical Education Healthcare/Nursing Teacher to take those skills to a virtual High School Center classroom.

The CTE Teacher is our most important resource. Their duties are to ensure that a student receives quality instruction, makes educational progress, and reaches their academic goals. This position is primarily responsible for delivering our educational program to ensure data driven, results based instruction for students in the implementation of the CTE program.

Requirements: Instructor experience is a preferred.

Schedule: This role will be virtual - Part Time - 5:00pm - 6:30 - Monday through Thursday.

A CTE credential is preferred.

Salary: $30/hr. with no current credential

$35/hr. with preliminary CTC CTE credential

$40/hr. with a cleared CTC CTE credential.

What you will do:

You will instruct students in specific CTE Pathways, using various teaching methods, audiovisual aids and other materials.

Preparing courses of study and following the curriculum guidelines with enthusiasm and skill will be a key in a successful learning environment.

Being comfortable with on-line instruction will be important, as you will administer assignments and evaluate the progress and assess a students work product and record results virtually.

You will maintain students grades and support all administrative functions and duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Ability to teach and delegate responsibility to students.
• Superior organizational and record keeping skills.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Google, and database management.
  
  
• Education and Experience:
• Minimum preliminary CTE credential in Health Science/Medical Technology OR Certified Nurse’s Aide  OR  Licensed Vocational Nurse OR Registered Nurse with the ability and willingness to obtain a CTE credential
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
